Muslin Cloth

ABOUT:

• Lightweight unfinished organic cotton muslin, open-weave and slightly coarser in feel than voile.
• Suitable for use as toiles, lining, interlining, straining and wrapping, etc...
• This fabric is unfinished and unbleached so up to 5% shrinkage will occur, which also means that the weave may have irregularities and may feature some cotton seeds but can all be taken as charm. 
• Price is per HALF METRE. Multiple quantities will be cut as a continuous length.
• We recommend that you wash this fabric on 30-40%u02DA with mild detergent and line dry where possible, though tumble drying is ok. Iron on a hot setting.
• Though this fabric has been starched to enable a crisp finish, it won't necessarily all wash out and so will keep its stiffer hand feel.

SIZE: 153cm wide. Approximately 66 gsm.

MATERIAL: 

• 100% Organic Cotton.
• Raw material is certified organically-grown from India though location unknown, and spun into yarn in India at a Soil Association-certified mill.
• The cloth is woven on small power looms in a small fair trade community in Kerala, India.
